I know everyone’s goal during this pandemic is to stay safe and healthy. I also understand when there’s a pandemic that all the normal aches and pains, klutzy accidents, and times we accidentally lift too much continue to happen. Since this pandemic all started, I am a poster child for having many mishaps happen to me.
In early April, I suddenly started having intense tooth pain and had to unexpectedly get a root canal. I was the second emergency patient at this amazing Endodontist’s office since he had to close. I know exactly what it feels like to go a Doctor’s office that I’ve never been to during Covid-19. When the novocaine wore off, I felt 150% times better and the experience was much more pleasant than I had anticipated. In the past month, I have also dislocated my pinky toe, and over the weekend got stung by a yellow jacket just above my knee while gardening. My knee swelled up like a water balloon. Then the other day I was bringing my hanging laundry upstairs and tripped & jolted my whole body. And to top it all off, on Tuesday Dr. Marty and I had to move my inflated stand up paddle board to a different location at a lake (like a 1/2 mile!!!), so we loaded it up with a double raft, a small cooler filled with lunch, and a lawn chair. Needless to say, I pulled a couple muscles in my back…..all these issues while social distancing and trying to stay safe and out of harm’s way!
If you find yourself in any of these predicaments, know that we completely understand and we are here to help you feel better. Thank goodness I am married to a Chiropractor who can “put me back together” so I can help all of you feel better! I think this weekend I’m just going to sit on my back porch and read a book!
