The Hormone Fix, by Anna Cabeca, is an excellent read! “Burn Fat Naturally, Boost Energy, Sleep Better, and Stop Hot Flashes, the Keto-Green Way!” Main points focus on how to eat/ cook an alkaline diet, which is recommended to decrease inflammation and ward off many diseases. Includes many delicious recipes and a 10 day and 28 day detox menu of what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I tried the 10 day detox and lost a couple pounds, my hot flashes decreased by 90% and I felt energetic, learned how to cook healthier, and my body became alkaline in the process. I am going to permanently adopt many principles going forward to keep my acidity down to improve my body chemistry. One thing that surprised me is that in order to keep our bodies more alkaline and less acidic: It’s 25% diet and 75% lifestyle (I always thought it was the other way around). It stresses how important gentle exercise is, as well as laughing, socializing (sooo hard right now!!) and having relationships that make us happy…it can really help change our body chemistry!
